Sarah brings creativity, intuition, and a highly personal approach to every project. With degrees in Studio Art and Psychology from Williams College, she combines artistic vision with an intuitive understanding of how people live, feel, and experience their surroundings.

Creative problem-solving is one of Sarah’s greatest strengths. She loves a challenge and is known for finding thoughtful, unexpected solutions to spaces that may initially feel difficult or limiting. Her optimistic, honest, and approachable style helps clients feel comfortable throughout the process, while her attention to detail ensures every decision is intentional.

Before founding SD Interiors, Sarah co-founded a design-focused company with her twin sister, working as an artist and product developer and further developing her eye for color, form, and one-of-a-kind details.

Today, Sarah leads each project with a hands-on, collaborative approach, creating interiors that feel distinctive, functional, collected, and deeply personal.

Karen brings exceptional organization, spatial awareness, and attention to detail to SD Interiors. She supports Sarah throughout the design process with precise measurements, project coordination, scheduling, vendor and trade communication, and on-site oversight.

A natural problem-solver and organizing expert, Karen is especially skilled at helping clients declutter, determine what to keep, and decide what no longer serves them - whether they are settling into a new home or reorganizing an existing one. She also helps make sense of challenging spaces and create practical systems that allow a home to function more efficiently.

Her calm, thoughtful approach helps keep both clients and projects organized and moving smoothly from planning through installation.
